Haury & Smith Contractors started the development in 1972 on 200 acres. With the construction of 102 units, our complex (Section 1) became the first phase of development. After four decades of planned growth, River Plantation now comprises 11 sections and more than 1,000 units.
River Plantation is one of the most successful garden-style condominium projects in the Mid-South. We boast that RP1 is still home to many of its original owners.
